Has anyone messed with putting better shocks on the trx 90?
What kind and was it worth it?

I just finised installing a kit I bought on e-bay to widin the front +6 inches. This kit also lets you use longer front shocks. I threw on a pair of works off of a 250 EX and using only one spring. This is my six year olds bike. The stockers were way to stiff for his 60 pounds. We will be testing them real soon and I'll write up somthing on any differances.

go to ebay and type in a search for "trx 90" someone is selling kits that will let you mount 300ex shocks on a trx 90. I dont know how they work, just something I saw the other day

It's been 3 months since I installed the 6 inch widening kit and works shocks to my sons quad and i have to say that the 300 dollar upgrade to the front suspension was well worth it. It's like a different quad . It now has useable suspension for a 60 pound rider. The upgrade consisted of; widening kit, longer tie rods, second hand works shock from a honda 250 single spring. Now he's
scaring his dad.
