What do you do for a living?
I am an Instrument and Controls Technician with the local water district. 40 hours a week. We live in martinez, Ca.
I barely can afford to keep all my toys running at the same time.
I have a RAPTOR and a Warrior, a couple of big thumper dirt bikes, a couple different trailers not including my Boat and it's trailer.
I currently have my toy trailer up on jacks doing the bearings and brakes, My boat trailer is rolled out from under the boat, so I can do some major structural repairs, one of my bike is down until I find time to work on it. Not to mention the work I'm not getting to do on my wifes 1973 Camaro restoration project, or a kitchen remod, or building that deck out back..... A guy was asking today at lunch, hey, when is your next trip??? And I sadly said that I have to do all this work to keep my crap running, and probably can't get out on the toys again till September, for the Reno Air Races.
Oh and by the way, I'm 50 years old, only and still married once, have three boys 17, 30,& 32, and they all ride too. now if they could only weld, and fab, and do that mechanic stuff....

45 to 50 hours a week , my wife works the same hours and also travels between Vegas , New Mexico , AZ , and Cali . I am the manager of
a place that investigates , estimates , & repairs stolen recovered vehicals . My wife is a management training specialist for Starbucks . If we
did'nt have a 8 month old , 6 year old and a 5 year old we could probably brake the bank , She doubles my income and I have been in this line of work for 13 years .... Gotta love the coffee people. ...lol .. and the term of those who die with the most toys wins , well if I can count my kids toys I think I would win .....lol

What do you do for a living?
Hey Huge...
I am an aerospace consultant and work contract jobs all over the country. I work in front of a computer all day so in my free time I learn everything I can about the ATV world....and dream of the day comes when I get to head home and go muddin. Most of the mod's I do on my bike are done with the help of my little brother taking it to the mod shop for me and me sending him a check in the mail. I live in Arlington, Texas but my bike and my heart is in the Louisiana Mud bogg...as far as money, well, I'm 30yo and being able to mod my bike out now took alot of blood, sweat and tears!!!*L* But, heh, I'm here and it's great to be able to contribute to my hobby, and indeed of all the hobbies you can indulge yourself in, this was isnt that expensive!!! Dunno how old you are, but just hang in there if you're young for a better career and prepare yourself, and if you're old look into trying something maybe more lucrative,,,third and final opinion, get to be buds w/ a mechanic and put it together piece by piece while you help at what you can...it's what I did...anyways,,enough with the story....Keep riding!!!!
