My friend’s dad wants to sell me his 250R its all-stock, and only one owner, the question is what should I offer him? I don’t want to take advantage of the situation. What do you think is fair.

It all depends on the condition and aftermarket parts/mods it has. I would ask the same question in the Honda forum. People there might be able to offer more info. on prices.

I've been shopping for a clean, stock, 250R and they are fairly rare - If it's real clean, they are fetching in the $3500 range-easily, from what I have seen. With good mods - the sky's the limit.

I'm no 250R expert but that's what I've been seeing in the southwest.

If you are not gonna buy it, please let me know - I'm still shopping.

Out here on the west coast, add at least $1000 to each of those prices.

Take a look on E-Bay It might give you some type of idea on different price ranges, I just saw a very nasty 250R with an ESR 310mm Big Bore conversion go for 1,650 dollars. Not bad.

ask the guy how much he wants and go from there. if it's stock, then don't pay more than 4,500 if it's in really good condition. jus negotiate with him.
