is there a difference between the dirtbike CR 250 engine and the engine in the quad?

I think they just use spare 250 engines they have laying around somewhere and decided to make a quad with them..

are you talking about the new 250r's because, correct me if i am wrong, i beleive the old one's are counter balanced adn the dirtbikes are not.

the "new" 250r made by service honda is a cr250 engine in a 400ex chassis and the same plastic from what i can tell

if your talking the later model 250r there are huge changes, its not even a question of what was changed because nothing was simular
