When we had a 300, it had an FMF header and PowerCore iV Muffler, along with a K&N and vented airbox lid. Gave a nice increase in power. I would get rid of those stock tires ASAP! They are round, and make the bike tippy.

Something you might want to try. If I ran a spark plug that was a cooler during hot weather, the bike always ran better. See your owners manual.
