Default 250x vs blaster

Yes the blaster will smoke both a 250ex and 300ex. Its a light 2 stroke vs 4 stroke haha 2 strokes will burn them off the line and the blaster should hold its lead.

Yes blaster may be a little more maintenance than a 250ex but a blaster is one of the most reliable 2-stroke of them all . Theyve been making them for over 15 years and finally upgraded to hydraulic rear brakes. HOndaman you are full of it, my blaster withan fmf pipe was faster than my friends also slightly modded 300ex so a 250ex should be no problem. Everyone knows you need twice as much cc when comparing 2-strokes to 4's. Some people are just dont know what they are talking about.
My god your the one smoking **** dude... were capairing 250X not a 250EX and as far as wrong advice there is no wrong advise it all our opinon dumb@$$ 2-strokes ain't always the best way to go as u say and besides all u need is skill, my dad had a 250R when i had my Warrior and he couldn't keep up with me..... i was like 13 then so it really about what u want most 250X is REal realiable i'd say get it learn to ride and don't ful with the 2-strokes problem etc.

k I know you gonna say somthing now Icehouse i wanna hear it O_o

I've burned so many blasters with my 250-X. dont know if a ex can but a X will. Plus a blaster is only a 200cc , and a very small quad.

Well I can’t say too much about a 250x since I have never ridden one. But, I can say a little bit about a blaster since I have owned one for 8 years. I bought my 1994 blaster in 1995 and just recently sold it for about $500 bucks cheaper than I originally paid for it. That’s less than $100 depreciation each year which is very good. The only things that I have ever put in the motor were crank seals twice, piston and rings once. I drove it almost every day for 8 years and drove it hard most of that time. As far as I am concerned it was a bullet proof quad and I hated selling it.

If the 250x is like the 300ex i would still go with the blaster. I never really heard much about the x except its like the 300 ex and the 300 dosesn't have much, if anything, on the blaster.

250x 250ex whats the diff they are both pieces of junk, besides i think he meant ex. yes i watched my friend witha 300ex find an "easier" way to get to the top of some dunes as i watched from the top with my blaster. All you people who are older than 12 and not girls need to get a real bike and quit thinking you know how to ride cuz you mastered a 12 hp bike, and beating your dad in a race doesnt mean the bike you were on is faster or better, he probably let you win because he wanted to put a smile on your face. 2-strokes are only a " problem" if you are incompetent.

I was just on the Toomey site and it says stock a blaster makes about 20 hp and then if you get the toomey b1 it jumps to about 26 hp. My point is that i bet you cant get those kind of power gains for 300 bucks for a 250x. I may be wrong cause i dont know much about the x but a 25% increase in power is pretty good for that price.

The Blaster would Positvely smoke it in a drag, but I don't know about tight trails.
