Im a newbe here but whatever.

Im going to order a hotcam, high comp. piston, and rev limiter. I want to know if i will need a stornger set of valve springs and whatever else you guys or girls think i will need to be safe with this setup.

I did a 416 kit last winter. At my mechanics recommendations, I added Heavy duty valve springs ($80), heavy duty cam chain ($90), and heavy duty clutch springs ($60).


Most will say you don't need them. As cheap as they are, I wasn't going to find out the hard way. It's pretty cheap insurance.
