Get the EX my friend has one with a white brothers air filter and FMF PC4 pipe and he beats z's with yoshimura pipes filters and cams but if i was u id go with the EX

 

I'd say that if you can get a brand new 400EX in showroom condition for $2900...you should RUN, do not walk, and put your money down!!! You can't pass up a deal like that! Is the dealer on quaaludes???[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

 

There are NO brand new 400ex's available for $2900. Not even in Kentucky where you can buy a house for less than $30,000. This is nonsense. Next subject.

 

have you ever been to kentucky. i have never heard of any house for sale under 30,000. just because i live in ky doesnt mean that is where this quad is being sold. you have no idea what your talking about and unless you have an opinion about what quad i should buy dont post your crap, cause that reads like it is an insult to me. i saw this on ebay. a guy is selling new quads for a dealership that went bankrupt and that price was what the guy could get it to me shipped. its was 999 on the ebay auction but he told me that we could set up a private deal that even included a warranty and get it to me in 3 days.

i have now seen several 400s for less than 4400 with mods.

 

My entire family is from Kentucky. I own 2 houses in Henderson. There is no shortage of homes for sale in western KY for $30,000 which would lead me to believe homes in far eastern KY are even less. Of course you live in the big city so you wouldn't know anything bout that.

I tried to find those brand new 400ex's on Ebay but was unable to. Why don't you do us a favor and tell us who to call so we can buy a few of them.

I have been in motorcycle and automotive advertising for a long time. This guy could have any dealer pick up his excess inventory for a few hundred back of invoice and it sure would be a lot more than $2900 (shipped). Your story smells like fish.

The buy now price would be 2900 USD for the HONDA Sportrax 400EX ATV(with
all the shipping/handling and insurance charges included). This is the price
agreed with the liquidator of the shop and the VAT (Value Added Tax) is
included. The unit is brand new and it has never been used before. It has no
hidden damages and it is in perfect condition.



They ship with all the accessories provided by the manufacturer and have 1
year of international parts warranty provided by the factory and 1 year
labour warranty and will be available at every Honda service center in your
country. All the manuals and the original documentation are written in 8
languages. Inside the package you will receive an invoice for the ATV and it
should be kept with the warranty papers.



You will receive your package in 3-4 working days. I send all my packages
with FedEx, and I will cover for all the shipping/handling and insurance
charges. You only pay for the money transfer comission when you wire the

The ATV will be sent already assembled because Honda requires their dealers

hey trx440 why did you move to arizona for. i dont think you could find any house down there for under 50.000 could you, just curios. do you live close to MMI. me and my friend are going to go there and some day run our own shop and have our own atv park up here in louisville because all the parks are more than an hour away from here. maybe we can give the quad shop a little run for thier money.

 

I don't live in a big city in Kentucky. I'm in the boonies, b.f.e whatever you wanna call it. Nothing but woods and farmland and I wish I could have found a nice house for under 30,000. Now I guess you could in some rare instance for maybe a one bedroom one bath tiny little house but that would be smaller than a single wide trailor. I will admit stuff is a hell of a lot cheaper here than a lot of places. I guess warrior4969 you won't be getting that $2900 ex. I didn't figure it would last long. I have a z and it's turning into my baby quick but I WOULD have got that ex if I'd have had the oppurunity and the cash. Maybe you can find a deal on the z or another ex. If it were the same amount of money I would get a z again of course since that's what I own but if you find an ex for say $1000 cheaper and you ain't in love with the z's looks (which I am) then I'd spend less and get the very reliable Honda.

 

well its not the looks that i like its the power, reverse, and liquid cooling that i like and it seems to be better by what everybody says. i like the honda and thats the one i wanted before i got the warrior. i couldnt afford the monthly payments at the time for the ex so i ended up with a warrior. i am leaning more toward the z because i dont want to have the same experience as i had with the warrior. the warrior being a nice quad for awhile but when it comes to modifing it, you put so much money into it and by the time your done it would have been cheaper just to buy a better machine. that is what worries me about the ex. lets say i buy an ex and modify it to race, will it be worth it in the long run. even now the pros are dropping the ex for the z and the magazines that do ex-vs.-z big bore/modified shoot outs say that the z is still a way better machine. then i will be left in the same situation im in with the warrior - keep ex and just deal with what i got or sell for something better. sorry for the long post.

i have found someone selling 2 z's-- one for 3000 and one for 4000. i dont know if they still have them or not. i need to contact them. i dont even know why i am looking for them know because i havent even got my warrior prepared to sell let alone sold. they i look at it know is im going to get a z unless i dont get enough money out of my warrior then i guess i have to get an ex. ill have no other choice.
