honda 300 4x4 vs. rancher 4x4
i had a 300 which i sold for my 400ex. my friend has a rancher. The rancher has a better engine but everything made on it is a little cheaper as plastic and such. If you want a play 4x4 get the rancher. If you want something that will NEVER break down get the 300.

honda 300 4x4 vs. rancher 4x4
I have a '92 300 4x4 and my best buddy had a '00 Rancher until this year which he traded in on a '03 Rubi. As far as comparing the two. The Rancher rode a littler better than my 300. Top speed was about the same. As far as pulling and plowing goes they both did pretty good uless you really loaded them up. Or the snow was over 12" deep. I modded out my 300 and it would just kill his Rancher in the mud. Even stock my 300 played better like that. Acually it does a number on his Rubi aswell. Even though he has started moding that out. If you want a good 4x4 that still has a little bit of sportieness in it get the Rancher. If you want a machine that to play on, have a lot of fun with and will hardly ever give you a problem get the 300. I'd by another one tomorrow if I found one in decent shape that was at a fair price. Either one you wont go wrong with.

honda 300 4x4 vs. rancher 4x4
My friend just bought a rancher and to tell you the truth if I didnt look down I wouldnt know if I was on a 300 4x4 or a rancher. They even sound the same even with completely different engines. Hopefully the rancher will be as reliable as the 300. I would get a foremanES because they are wider and better for trails for me. They all need way more suspension travel.
