water in airbox????

Default water in airbox????

every time i ride in some water or muddy trails i get water all inside of the airbox, what are your best suggestions? i was thinking of siliconing around the seal of the air box lid

snorkel time. water in the air box is a MAJOR NO NO!!!!!!!!!

what i did is seal around the air box and make a little extensoin in the top so it can still breath but more water clearence. I did thisafter drowning my foreman 4 times.. I just stay away from the over the seat stuff now..

Default water in airbox????

I just removed the small plug at the bottom of the air box. That way the water justs drains out. Your lid should have a small rubber seal, check to see if it is still there.

^ the only problem with that plan is if your into seat high water, the airbox will fill from that drain hole long before the stock snorkle goes under. If you do alot of fast travelling through puddles, you'll get a bit of water in the box, it still comes down the snorkle.
