Who has a 424 on a Rancher
#1
I have a 2002 Rancher 4x4 and I was thinking about adding the 424 to it, I am just trying to decide if it is worth it.
If you have one on a Rancher could you please try and answer these qustions:
1. Has the 424 broken or given you any problems
2. Does the machine accelerate faster now
3. Does the machine have a tighter turning radius now
4. Is the top speed higher now
5. Can you engage it while in motion, or do you have to be stopped
6. Does it engage smoothly
7. Is it worth the money
Thanks for any replies to any of these questions.

I have the Warn 424 on my Rancher and basicly i have to say Yes to all your questions except the trouble part. So far it has performed flawlessly. You can engage/disrngage in motion aslong as your tires aren't spinning. Gas milage seems the same, top speed the same but, aceelerates quicker. turing is better as you can spin the rear around and turning effort is easier. I wouldn,t buy another quad 4x4 with out this option again. It will spoil you.
