We live at 4500 ft, and that is as low as we ever get. We have ridden well over 11,500 ft. The dealer installed a 150 jet during our Rubicon's dealer prep. It runs great from 4500 ft to 12,000 ft. Hope it helps. They also installed a 125 in our 02 Rancher 4x4.

Are you going to high altitude temporarily, or to stay? If it is a quick trip, I use the TPI (www.thunderproducts.com). Inastalls in your airbox lid. You open it up as you ascend in altitude for more air. Close it when you descend again. Has worked pretty well on the Ranchers.

thanks for the reply,
it is temporary, going this week.
unfortunatelly , I don't have time to order any product , other than buy jets from the local dealer.

specta,
did the dealer only changed the main jet or made any other adjustment? needle or pilot jet chage, idleair screw adjust ?

thanks
