Sixtynine400ex - what are you talkin about. Dont start by say im jealous about the honda 450 *IF* it comes out but dont start trash talkin before you can even back it up. The only thing you got to back up your mouth as of right now is that 400ex. So until the crf450 quad comes out dont bash the raptor and YFZ and say how bad their gonna get smoked by a quad that doesnt even exsist right now for all we know. I saw many new 450s run last weekend and let me say they are extrememly impressive so if the honda is even close to the yamaha 450 I will be impressed and consider buying one down the road.

The reason many people don't like craptors is because they have so many problems with them. The carb boot, a-arms, tranny should I go on or would you like me to stop so that you will still love your quad. If i was just in it for the torque i would buy a raptor but for what i ride the handling on that thing would never make it.

 

problems are the price you pay for going fast
if they made the raptor as slow as a 400ex it would be reliable also
lets wait and see how reliable these new hondas now that you guys should have(hopefully)a more hipo motor than the 400ex

 

No what we don't understand is why the craptor is only beating us by a quad length when you are paying thousands more. If you want something fast go buy a DS. Sure is funny when i go to little sahara that i never see any craptors lining up. But i did see one extreme 400ex out there that was eating everything but the banshees

dont think i am bashing the ex i ride with 3 of the all the time
it is just nice to ride with other quads where i live because dirtbikes out number quads by about 50 to 1

 

Maybe 200 over msrp. I don't know any dealership around here that would sell you a raptor for 5k because i only paid $4800 for my ex off the showroom floor.

 

Nah beech if I sell my raptor Im going to get a big bore R. Thats what Id really like, I wanna go back to 2stroke after my raptor gets old. Hutchies I ll race ya and I and guarantee you I will beat you by more than a quad length. I will admit my friend just got a 03' 400ex and he can beat any 400ex he races almost. He also beats stock and piped raptors, 250r's, and he even beat a piped vforce up comp hill at florence (about 300feet long, not very big) so im not dissin the EX cuz their a good quad.

Seriously dude, I got nothing against honda but if your'e gonna talk crap, at least talk about something you can back up. I to ride Sahara. ALOT! Made 11 trips so far this year.
