I agree with bigbubba about the reliability of the new rappys. All the problems where fixed after the 01s except the damn starters. Also the raptor is not tippy after you learn to ride the thing, maybe the first timeon one it may seem tippy but the only riding problem with mine is it wheelies to darn much so im extending my swingarm .... problem cured. The reason the 400ex didnt have any problems is partly cuz honda took their sweet time .... 1989 the 250R ended then all the way to 1999 when the 400ex came out. They had 10 years to develope and test the 400ex no wonder it doesnt have problems.

Of course the Raptor would have a few more problems because there's a lot more on it to go wrong. The 400EX is back there with the Warrior in technology. It's still amazing how 400 EX owners will bash the Raptor because it "only beat me by a few lengths". Well you know, it still beat you. And the Raptor can't even use all it's power because it either spins the tires of flips over backwards. If you line a Raptor (with an extended swingarm) up against a 400EX on pavement, see how far behind the EX will be.
