Hey, Im thinkin about buyin a 400EX soon and I have a buddy I ride with that has a 2002 XR200. We are both the same riding ability and weight. So I was wondering on a flat drag race on blacktop which one you guys think would win...acceleration and top end. Thank you for any input on this. Have you guys ever raced an XR200 or anything similar? Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

 

Hard to say. I would expect a close race.

probably the 400ex, i kno CRF150 gets burned by a 400ex

 

Nope, the XR 200 will have higher top speed and equal or better acceleration.

 

the 400ex will get out of the hole and accelerate faster but if it's a long race the xr will catch and pass it dues to it's higher top speed.

 

The XR200's run decent.....I would expect a close race....thats a tough one.

 

AN XR400 Run a little faster than a 400EX, so an XR200. The XR will catch up in top speed thought

I would expect a XR400 to be a lot faster than a 400EX not a little.
