Just wondering, to those of you who have installed an "atv locker" on your 4X4's how much more difficult is it to steer?
Thanks in advance for any replys.

I put one on my 450ES. The harder the surface you're riding on the more difficult it is to steer.

In loose dirt or mud I hardly notice the difference.

Also if you are not moving at all it's much harder to turn the handlebars. As soon as you move (even at real slow speeds) it becomes easier to turn.

Where you notice the extra performance is in the mud and going over logs and stumps. Makes a big difference.

I agree with Sibbs! The locker is harder to turn on hard surfaces, but it is the only way to go in the mud!!
