Default CV boot replacement?

Is it tough to replace on my own or is it something a dealer should do?

Default CV boot replacement?

Not sure about Honda. But on Polaris it is not too difficult. Hardest part is getting the new bands back on. They make special tools for it but 2 people,4 hands, 2 needle nose pliers, and 1 small flat screwdriver we finally got it back on. Watch how it comes apart so you can get everything back in place. 2nd time I let dealer do it for 72$ total parts and labor.

Thankx, for the advise.
I have the parts already. I think I may take it to the dealer myself.

if it is the outside boot, it isn't too bad providing you have basic hand tools and the skills to go along with it. You have to remove your wheel, axle nut, lower ball joint, and you may be able to slide it out past your hub. If not then you will have to unbolt your shock and whatever else to get it free and out of the way. Then you have to remove the snap ring, take your cv-joint apart, remove the old boot, clean everything up, slide your clamp on the shaft and then the boot. etc etc etc. It can be frustrating if you don't know what you are doing. Or you can pay $35 and take it to the dealer. If they can get on it in a reasonable amount of time, I would say go for it but be prepared to pay for them to repack the grease in your wheel bearing. They burned me on that one. I should have known they would do that as it is something that should be done occasionally. Oh well.
