Did Honda cheat?

Baja 1000.
Did Honda cheat or is the Rincon faster than any sport-quad? I assume Honda rigged the race but it is possible that the independent suspension on the Rincon gave it an advantage over the swing-arm sport-quads. This would mean that the people in the 90s modifying Banchees and 250R's, were wasting their time and money and should have been modifying Sportsmans.

Hasn't anyone heard about the team that might have cheated in this years Baja 500? Gilberto Santana's team that has Mexican drivers is being accused of taking a short cut (twice) during the Baja 500. This is the same team that won with the RINCON in the Baja 1000.

Everyone else had allot of down time at the Baja 1000. Greg Row was leading by 2 hours on his DS650 when he lost his lights at night. The Rincon was protested at the Baja 1000 but when Honda stepped in it was overturned.

I chalk it up to smooth continuos ride. They got out there, pined it and just held on until the race was over. The slower and steady speeds probably didn't wear the riders down as much as the modded machines did.

Does anybody really think a sport squad, designed for short high intensity races, has any kind of superiority in a 1,000 mile race?
Top speed loses importance to sustainable speed.
To finish first, first you have to finish.
