info on the 400ex
#2
The advantages to a 400ex are that it is reliable, great handling, good power for trails, light weight. The disadvantages are that it is outdated and that the other bikes for the same price have a bit more power and suspension. The top speed is about 65-68mph.

I bought a used 01 400ex and there isnt any problems at all. Look for the bal joints on the wheels to be lose (wiggle them) and ride it, make sure it dusnt smoke, make sure it dusnt vibrate or spped wobble. Look for bent rims and worn tires! Thats all.
