Default Ice Screws

I bought some tires with my quad that were studded with the ice screws that you buy from a quad store, I was wondering what other people use. I though mabey hex head metal screws might be cheaper.

the Ice screws are made from a harder metal so they last longer and cut into the ice. hex head metal screws just aren't the same and may get you hurt

I use sheet metal screws right now and they hook up great. Especially for the price. The only problem is I need some tires that will hold them a little better.

a friend of mine owns a consignment shop and also sells accessories,he had 8 boxes of the klymaxx carbide lug studs.he has them listed for $58.95 for a box of 48 studs,i dont know if i would pay that for them but he sold me all 8 boxes for $75 bucks because ppl ordered them and never picked them up,and theyve been sitting there for over a year..i put pretty much all of them into my polaris snowmobile and let me tell ya they hook up so nice and after 1600 miles they still have the carbides on them..
