Default Transmission Problem

I was wondering if my problem is a big deal. Looks, my 300ex shift well throught all gear. No problem, no slipping, the gear just get in when I release the clutch. The problem appears when I don't release the throttle to shift in a drag. 1 time of of 3, when I shift for my 3rd speed, the gear won't pop in, I will only hears the motor rev for about 1-2 seconds then It will comes in. It's kinda annoying. What could it be?

Likes I told you, it's only doing it when I UPShift from 2nd to 3rd and when I don't release the throttle to shift. The quad just seems to fall on neutral for several seconds, the chain go slack, the engine still rev up (still holding the throttle), then the gear goes in, the chain makes a real big sounds and everything goes on

by the way you you describe it, it sounds like your clutch IS slipping when you shift into 3rd

I don't think it's slipping ; it's not engaging at all. BTW, what's going on with you're 250X Matt?
