Default dynojet power kit

I got one for my DS 650. They only offered a stage one for that application. The next stage, I think, comes with a K&N air filter. I would tell you unless you have an aftermarket or modified stock exaust you probably should save your money. Why? The idea of the kit is to allow more fuel into the engine theoretically increasing power. This is going to only help if you have increased air flow...ie. exaust, air cleaner, no lid on air box, etc. On my DS I put a White Brothers R-4 on, a K&N on carb filter, and then jetted with the dyno jet kit and needle all at the same time. So I couldn't tell what made the difference in power, but when I drag race my buddy who has a bone stock DS I walk, not run, away from him. When we climb steep dunes I can stay in a taller gear without having to down shift like he does. So they do help some. I just don't know if the 600 or so dollars to do it is really worth it (pipe, air cleaner, jet kit). You Honda guys are lucky though and these may be a lot cheeper than for the DS. If they are not then consider the Boondocker nitrous system (about 800) IF all you are looking for is straight line power. I put a NX system on my DS and had a ball!!
