2001 Foreman 450 ES. A few days ago it showed its first sign of not wanting to respond to the gear switch at start up. In other words, it is stuck in neutral and makes no sign of trying to switch into 1st or reverse when pushing the buttons (starts and runs fine but can't move in neutral). First time it lasted only briefly (5 minutes) and for a few days we both forgot. Then yesterday after returning from a long, wet ride it pulled the same trick after I shut down briefly at buddies on the way home. I had to leave it there because it wasn't fixing itself as it did the first time. This morning it worked fine until I shut her down at another buddies place. There it sits. Any advice would be appreciated as I don't have the luxury of any service shops here. Thanks kindly. By the way is there suppose to be a place to install a manual shift lever on the ES model?
