Check out that graphic I found of the up and coming Dirt Wheels cover. The heading at the top sayes I think "Honda 600EX & CRF450 Quad"

So could this mean that honda is going to hit us with two quads or have I missed something?

for 1 thats not a up coming cover, its a buyer guide, and i don't think honda would do that, on a old atv action there was a 600ex, i don't know if honda made it or not, but it was fuel injected all aluminum frame- sounds like a lemondale- lol!!!

that was a big misleading LIE as usual on the cover of that mag to get people to buy it.

what it refered to was 2 articles within the mag- one about some guy that puts street bike engines in quads and as the mag says "600EX" was really a 86 trx250r frame with a 600cc engine with 100hp and 400ex plastic. totally custom- you will not EVER see that anytime soon coming from honda.

the CFR450 quad was more believable, but once again, it was someone or someplace that could do engine swaps from the dirtbike to the quad in a short time - but not it was NOT an official honda test bike. it was, however, test ridden by one of the racers that I cant recall right now.... on sept 10, go to hondamotorcycles.com and you will see what they actually build. HONDA has only officially announced (08.04.2003) a TRX450R. Anything else will be a total suprise...i doubt they do anything else.

 

I don't think Honda has any interest to jump into the big bore class just quite yet.
