All picking aside, this is the latest information I have heard on the Rubicon. There has not been a recall of all Rubicons and there is not a problem with the hourly timer. The only problem has been with a clip that holds a particular hose. The clip is not in the correct place on the hose. Due to this there is a possibility of this hose popping off. I do not know what hose it is, nor did my friend. I was told that Honda is sending people to the warehouses to correct the problems. This problem as minor as it is has occurred on certain serial numbers not all units. My friend said he was not aware of any units being shipped yet. He said he thought some were to be shipped at the end of last week or the first of this week. He also said he could guarentee me I would get the red one I wanted because that is all that has been made so far. Note: The motor is made in Japan and the rest of the machine is made in South Carolina. Have fun and keep riding.

 

Found out the recall was on some 450ES models not the Rubicon. The hourly timer was hanging up on these and causing the battery to discharge. Kits have been sent out to correct the problem.
