the honda is a CRF450R engine in a frickin' 400EX frame with an aluminum swingarm. it won't perform like the YFZ does. dream on.

 

How do you know? The 400ex frame is excellant. It is only the front end of the 400ex frame anyways. The 450r has new suspension, which is really what would make the it handle better than the 400ex. The powerplant is what it's got going towards the yfz, the crf engine in the bike produces a couple more hp than the yz450f, if all goes well the quad engine will have the same results over the yfz. I would pick the Honda over the yfz because I like Honda. I think they will be so similar, for most people it will be a toss up.

 

Yeah but if you compare the fender to the center cowl, you will see that it matches the right fender.
Which would mean that it is bolted down.
Maybe they're gonna put a large capacity tank in so the plastic wont stick above it?

 

im sorry but the honda does not make more power than the yamaha. even dirt wheels said that. if u argue its because ur too wrapped up in honda

 

Actually, according to the December 2002 Dirt Rider magazine, the CRF DOES make more power than the YZF. They dynoed the machines and it really does make a couple more horses.
