i looked up ''reliability'' the other day and ''Honda'' was the definition, then i looked up ''power'' and ''trx450r'' was the definition, then i looked up ''winner'' and to my surprise ''honda 450r'' was the definition...isnt that strange?

( the Avenger ) Is that so ? i dont remember the honda ever having Reliability issues ! .. Cause i still have a 1980 honda atc-110 setting in my dads garage that probably runs better than anything half that old .. thats 23 years i can't even remember if i ever changed the oil in it and it still runs im saving it for when my daughter is old enough to ride it .. maybe in another 10-11 years or so when you see her fly past your 01 Raptor on it you will think twice before you speak

I have had many ATV's over the years, and I don't let them sit and collect dust, either. I have yet to have ANY reliability issues with a Honda product. Never. Period. If I had had continuous problems with them, I would have bought another brand. Small problems along the way is to be expected from just about anything, but the fact that I have yet to have a Honda fail me is very impressive. You could end up with a lemon from any manufacturer, it happens, but I have been fortunate. If the 450R holds up anywhere near as good as my 250R, then it will be a very reliable quad. The new Yamaha and other new sport quads are nice, and I would have no problem buying any of those as well. But it just goes to reason that if you have something proven, stick with it.

in most cases its not the brand of the quad that will give you reliability or not its how you maintain it
