i have never had a kickstart and dont really mind that thats what the 450r has..y does every1 hate the kick so much??
its more reliable than e-start and i just think its pretty cool to kick instead of pushing a little button it makes it more "sporty"

and one more thing....stop trashin the damn trx450r!!! until uve ridden one (and even when u do...i mean for more than 1 or 2 times) in january or whenever it actually comes out, may be a little earlier, dont say anyhitng bad about it. i hope all u trash-talkers are passed over and over when these sexy bests come out[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] not sayin theyll be better than this or worse than that though

you try kick starting a bike on top of a 90' sand dune in 90 degree weather....it's not fun..

 

this is one of the EASIEST kicking bikes...im sure it isnt that hard, and if u have to work a little bit, im sure some of us could use the exercise[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I love the kick start, and if I can kick start the Zilla, then anything else is gravy

 

Yes it sucks trying to kickstart a machine in 95 degree heat after an extended riding period, but the CRF450 engine starts up very easy.

 

Thats funny cause every time I watch a banshee kick start in one try I think...wow...I wonder if my stupid one-way is gonna take a dump...or maybe its the battery, or battery cables

 

Yeah but every time I watch some one on a Banshee or Zilla kick for 5 minutes and wind up in a pool of sweat, I think whew glad I don't have to do that!!

the reason why everyone is ratting on the 450r for having a kickstarter isn't because its too hard, but because everyone is saying the 450r weighs the same as the yfz450 when in reality, if you put a kickstart on a yfz, it would be 35 pounds lighter than the 450r.

 

If you hate kick starts, don't buy one. Not every machine is made for everyone.

I love it when a new ATV comes out and everyone picks it apart.

 

I really dont think it would be 35 lbs lighter by switching it to a kickstart, unless the starter is made of lead. Selector how much did you say you saved?
