The trick is just being calm and knowing that your grab bar will ALWAYS keep it from flipping on a level surface. Just slide to the back of the quad outstretching your arms as far as you can and find a little under the balancing point. Then just keep giving it gas every second or two, without letting it get too low making you have to accelerate alot just to keep it up. The best way to practice is by trying to maintain your balance, while maintaining a low speed. A field is a great place to practice. You going to fall the back alot while practicing, but just know the quad wont come down on you. Once you get it right(its unique on every quad) it'll be as easy as riding a bike, and youll be able to catwalk for as far as youd like. Just devote a couple good hours to it, and before you know it, you be a pro!

Hope this answers anyones questions about how to wheelie, if not, post your questions!!!!!

thats the pu$$y way out!, just spend a long time practicing and dont be afraid to fall of the back, infact it might be a good idea to fall off the back once or twice to find out exactly where that balancing point is.

Heh... That's a little tricky on a DS... The balance point is WAY WAY back because it's nose-heavy and on top of that...my pipe sticks out further than my grab bar... Making if I go too far... I get a pipe full of soil and grass and I probably get thrown off..

TyreSpinner: yea, id be a little cautious with that. I guess a DS just isnt made to catwalk!

you might want to try wheelying a little faster on a DS so you wont have to go back as far, but the faster you go the harter it is to keep it up!(no pun intended).

i have a question on wheelying... the longest ive ever catwalked for was like 3 seconds than i dropped the front, but the few recent times ive tried the quad went on the grab bars and i fell off and the nose flew down and it kept on going... but when that happens should i hold onto the handlebars or just fall to the ground

I can't pull wheelies on my trx250.

The old 200sx (quad) didn't have a bar so it would go right over.
