I know car racing is expensive my dad had a 69 camaro with a 454 stroker motor on alky tubbed all caged he had about 20,000 in that car and then the drag strip flooded and U had to drive 200 miles to get to the closest strip and it wasn't even a 1/4 mile so he traded it for a vette and some money of course and about 2 years later they buld gateway international raceway home off the sears craftsman nationals like a BIG strip that is only about a 1 hour and a half drive that is the stupidest thing he ever did and he says it all the time.other than buying a yamaha hehe

If atv riding is not expensive, then who gave away 5 or 6 grand for some people to go buy a toy?
Still much cheaper than most other types of racing though.

The worst is when you have a nice bike or I think and have no were to ride it in about 2 hours and the worst is thing is my dad wont take me. In the last about 2 years I only hade it one place and that was the cochranton poker run and the mojaves grab bar broke wich had the rack on it and if it came back it would hit the tires so we rode about 3 hours and got the rack off and then they would not let us ride so it was $60 for both of us pluse insurance it was well over $200.

Everything is getting expensive.

I still remember this McDonalds advertisement. "Buy a Big Mac, fry, & coke, & get change back from a dollar"

Ahhhhhhh, those days, but then quads weren't around then either.

I guess one could take up golf, it would most likely be cheaper than ATVs, but as fun, heck no!

Well, I ride atv's and play golf as well. I would say they cost about the same. I have about 2 or 3 thousand in golf clubs alone and then theres the *****. $40 bucks for 12 of them and to play on round at a good course cost about 50 bucks so they are about the same. Atv riding is more fun though. hehe
