Be ready to change alot of head gaskets. I run 13:5 to 1 and I change my head gasket every two months or so. By the way, how much did you pay for all that stuff?

 

LOL your sure right about the not married thing. Id like to meet up with ya sometime at the dunes and take a look at it.

 

The head gasket it set up to take the abuse (so they say) it's metalic - dont know for sure what kind of metal. As far as the price .... a lot! But I still want to get those really trick Elka Elite shocks on top of it. I got to work some more to pay for that!

I'll let you know when it's done. Chuck over in Jefferson is putting it together. I've spent enough on the DS so I thought it would be about time to do something for the EX.

 

really you have chuck doing it! he is also doing my friends blaster and his sister, he also did our friends 690 raptor. He does good work, he told me that he could do my whole motor for a grand, includes 440, cam, stroke, etc.....
but it takes him forever to do anything

Chuck is the best around here. I talked to him about what I wanted to do and we poured over the catalogs for nearly an hour before we agreed on everything. Since I have nearly all the parts, I imagine it will take 2 to 3 weeks to get it completed by him once I drop it off. The only thing I still am waiting for is the carb from Duncan. Chuck wont have to wait for much except the porting job and the bore. So hopefully, I wont have to wait over a month. When its done I'll still need new plastic and new shocks. So hopefully I'll have some more money by then to get that stuff.

You riding this weekend? I'm heading down to Horsefall with the DS. I hope I dont get a ticket!
