I have a 1987 honda 250x, with a uni airfilter as far as performance thats all i got, i dont know what to get to make it faster, or any home remedies, i would like nerf bars and new plastic because mines a pretty screwed up, but if any one has ideas please post em, thanks.

 

as far as i know theres not alot to do to your quad, find someone that makes a pipe, and that will help a little......

 

There are quite a few mods you can do to a 250x. First thing get a good exhaust like a White Brother E-Series then rejet the carb. After that if your motor has never been rebuilt then rebuild it and add a performance camshaft and some other internal stuff. Then you will have a quick machine for sure.

As for plastic go to your local Honda dealer and see if they can still get it if not order some cheap stuff from Dennis Kirk or such.
