4 mos. before available?????
Why is Honda unveiling its 450 4 months before it is available? Is this thing still on the drawing board? Can't they fiqure out how to mass produce it? Did they encounter reliability problems they are still working on? Were they afraid all of their potential customers would buy new YFZ's because they were tired of waiting for Honda to come out with something competitive? I am suspicious of this marketing ploy.

that's my guess. the YFZ is showing its true colors and Honda doesn't want to lose its market. Im more interested in seeing someone put a BB PV in a trx450frame just for some giggles. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

They had to announce it. THey had no choice. They're just saying, hey wait a minute. We have a product too. I bet YFZ sales slow down. People wait to the the red 450 before they decide. It's like when AMD and INTEL started advertising the first 1ghz chips. Niether actually had any to sell.

hehehe...everyone bashing honda for not producing something new.....when they release info, they're bashed for that....hehehe.....FuNnY....honda cannot win with some of you guys....if they did everything right, they would be wrong...i guess honda is the first company ever to use a "Coming Soon" advertising method....shame on them!!...it's so funny to read all this crap over and over and over again!

Where you been all these years?? Honda typically announces models that don't come out until the next model year. For example, the Rancher 400AT was announced at this time last year, and is just hitting the dealers floors now. So, if the 450 comes out in January, it is actually 6 MONTHS EARLY.
