300ex or 400ex

the 400 has a lot more power and will make it up most hills in stock form. The 300 not only has less power but weighs more. The only reason to get the 300 would be if you absolutely have to have reverse also, IMO.

reverse is over rated and besides the quad only weighs 400lbs, you just lift it and drag it over, iin my opinion if you get the 300 you WILL want more power,, if you get a 400 you will just plan your turns my 2 cents.

well i thought it was pretty funny but this guy i was talking to on here somewhere said he has a blaster and some other guy was like "they suck, they don't have reverse" and the other guy responed back saying i only need a 6 foot dimeter area to turn my blaster around in 1st gear. so one would think that the 400ex has this ablity also

Im new to riding and just bought the 300ex brand new. I thought it was going to have enough power but it doesnt. I want to make the decision to keep it or not before the price drops even more. Im thinkin bout gettin a used 400ex or z400. should I keep 300 and put big bore kit or just get bigger quad. also are the z400 any better than 400ex??
