Default trx 450r tit. valves?????????

I know i've read quite a few threads that said they were mad cause the new honda doesn't have tit. valves. I read in the new dirtwheels (which i don't put too much stock in ) that it did have tit. valves. I looked at the stat sheet on honda's web site and it doesn't say what they are. You guys that say the valves aren't tit. Are you real sure about it and if you are where did u find out

I read that it had titanium valves and steel valves. Two of them (intake or exhaust, not sure) are titanium and other two are steel.

Think the 2 exauhst valves are titanium due to the fact they get hotter than the intake valves just like in most race cars the intake valves can be steel cause they get cooled from the intake charge passing over them and the only time they get hot is during combustion but the exauhst valves are allways very hot cause the exauhst gas's flow all the way around them they make exauhst vlv's titanium to handle the heat better and less likely to burn them.

I read in one of the other forums from someone who as far as I've seen always provides excellent knowledge that titanium doesn't handle heat as well and can crack from continued exposure to temps over 800 degrees. According to him anyways titanium headpipes will crack over time. I don't know what this implies for exhaust valves and I don't know if it's true or not. I'm just passing it on. If it's bad info I apologize in advance.

ive read the specs from honda ... it has steel valves. however the CRF450 dirtbike has titanium intake valve and steel axhaust valves. The TRX's exhaust valves are also smaller than the dirtbike.

The 450 is supposed too have titanium intakes and steel exhausts. Steel being more reliable under hotter exhaust conditions.

Sounds like the 450r has more to it than just reading it's specs off of honda's website. I can't wait to even see one in real life.
