help answer roost boost 300ex

Does anyone know the pros and cons of adding an answer roost boost to my 300ex
is it worth it or not?

What exactly does a Roost Boost do anyways? I remember seeing them in Dennis Kirk catalogs back in the early 90s. Do they just increase spark or what?

Dunno thats what im trying to figure out ive got one but i dont know what it does
i bought a pipe on ebay and the guy threw it in the deal
