TRX 90 Valve Adjustment

TRX 90 Valve Adjustment
Just bought a used TRX 90 for the little one and the valves sound a little loose. Does anyone have the basic information for the proper procedure to adjust them? Owner's manual only says they should be at .002". I have the tools and I know it is far from rocket science but just need a little help.
