Bent tie rod on EX and damage?
I just bent a front right tie rod on my 400 EX when hitting a submerged log. The rod is bent in the middle at about 15* degrees. Will this have an adverse effects on the handling or will it have any long terms effects? It seems to handle the same? How much does a new Honda OEM tie rod cost?

It will affect handling. Happened to me too, about a year ago. New rod was like $10 from ServiceHonda.com
Cheap enuff...just replace it.
When you do, make sure you make note of where the nuts were tightened on the old one...setup the new rod exactly the same way or your alignment will be off...
good luck.

with that much bend you should be able to just unscrew it a lil bit out of the tie rod ends and hit the trails again. just becareful caus it dont take much of a hard hit to bend it even more. by the way, they are left hand threads. i know when i was at finger lakes a few weeks ago i hit a tree with my left wheel mid air and it bent mine. just a minor adjustment and i was back at it again.
