I ride a 95' 300ex with: Suppertrapp pipe, suppertrapp silencer, Dg nerf bars and bumper, Xct holeshot tires all around, douglas .190 rims, K&N air filter, Trail porting, 3 angle precision valve job, Bore 10cc, High Proformance weisco piston, Varsha clutch kit, Complete Gasket set, baja skid plates---I ride with a 2000 scrambler 500 and it is pretty dang fast, he beats me in a drag race, but my bike is set up for woods racing, but he does not understand that, he keeps bragging how mine is sucky and slow cause i cant win in a drag. What is all of your input on the situation? what can i do to make him quit?

he'll need to stop and wind up the rudder band sooner or later!...go hard

its not the size of the dog its the size of the fight in the dog that counts!

He is one of them stupid people who go buy a bike just cause it is faster then the people he ride with. just like the people that are wanting to but a raptor before it is tested. I no i ride a 500 scrambler and yes it is automatic and yes it is big but after you get used to it u can beat anything on the big nastey trails with big climbs and mud holes. And all the 300ex people in here i really like the 300exs almost better than the 400 s A cstark i would race you in the woods and yeah you might be but in my opinion its just for fun. And i will get better im only 15. and before you call me spoiled i payed for my bike all by my self cause i have had a job for 3 years now

P.s if you want to po the guy on the scrambler tun his gas off when hes not lookin and he will think it dies because it takes so long to start after it runs out of gas hehe

Just curious, since you have the high performance piston, valve job and such... did you put in a more aggressive cam also, didn't see one mentioned.

Mike, i have no Cam, i have to buy rocker arms and valve springs, a package that runs about 350.00. I dont have that kinda money right now, but i will. I am also not going to just buy a cam, its going to be a cam and carb combo.

Mag, i get asked that alot, and the answer is simple, i like my little 300ex. I like the feel and the handling. ANd i havent had any probs with it yet. I wanna keep it. And when you say the 400ex is better trail machine, i dont think that is necisaraly true. The 300ex can keep with a 400ex in some of the tighter stuff, give it some credit. The 300ex has alot of potential.

Just an answer
