I have heard that it is nessasary to adjust the throttle cable on the 2000 400ex's. I wanted to know if this was a problem with all 2000 honda ATV's, or just the 400ex's. And if it is with all of them tell met how to adjust it. Thanks

 

hey, i have a 1500 lb. superwinch on my recon, its all custom mounted to fit perfectly. how did you mount your winch?

 

As far as I know, the problem is limited to the 400EX. But it couldn't hurt to check your Recon as well.

 

I custom made a mounting base that fitsz perfectally into the front racks, then welded my winch to that

 

its not a problem with the hondas but it sure makes a diff in performance and it works for the recon to at least a couple people have said that so far
