The 400ex and the z 400 are very close i think that the driver do the difference because i race my friend with is kfx and i beat him close he take my ex and i take is kfx and i win close

 

..... You never mentioned anything about it being piped, so i wouldn't know? And it could be a Cobra pipe....

 

The z400 has more mods than the 400ex. They tryed different drivers. 400ex wins.

400ex > z400

 

As long as the prices are the same, buy a z400. I own both and I would buy the z400 over the 400ex, as long as I wasn't paying more than a $1000 premium. Year for year, condition for condition.
Z's are faster. Your buddies z is not set up properly.

 

OBVIOUSLY SANDNECK THE Z IS PROLLY SET UP RIGHT JUST NEEDS A BETTER RIDER TO GET OUT RAN BY A PIPED 400EX?

 

Get the Z. Liquid cooled, reverse. Open the airbox, pipe it, jet it, and add a 13T on the front. He'll be pleased...for a while.
