no the banshee is not to big but the banshee is not as easy to drive like the ex, not very beautiful and you have to mix your gaz ,,the 400ex is ligther , more easy to ride ,and more stable but if you want more perfomance choose the Banshee. u cant kill yourself if u dont go over your capaciti

Well....I'm probably going to see a lot of people that disagree to this, but in my opinion I like the Banshee better on the trails than the 400ex.

The Banshee takes a little while to get used to because of the "lightswitch powerband", but with a little seat time you'll get used to it. It's also a pain that you have to mix your gas, but that's not so bad either really...just annoying sometimes. The good part is the front end on them is pretty heavy, and with the way the power comes on it typically spins rather than lifting the front tires...this is good on the trails cause you can just hammer it and blast through/up just about anything.

The 400ex handles better, jumps better, and is overall easier to drive, but on the trails it's a pain to keep the front end down.

The trails around here are typically slow going...steep...muddy...rocky...etc...

In the above conditions, I prefer the Banshee.

I've had quite a bit of seat time on both...I felt better on the Banshee

I'm with the guys .. 400ex for wheelies. I've heard the Banshee isn't a good machine for slow trail poking .. it's an all or nuthing kinda bike ..

As for the ugly or "not very beautiful" I think it's probably one of the only truly "original" looking quads. I like em.

I like the 400ex, but I'm used to it. The Warrior isn't bad at all though, my buddy has one and I can do about the same on his as I can mine. The Banshee is a pain to get used to....the power band is just way to touchy.
