If KnowsAlot is out there... Air Filters?
#1
This question is for Knowsalot ... or anyone who can give me a Knowledgeanle answer.
I am thinking about putting a high flow filter, like Twin air or Something, in my 2003 450 Foreman S. What will I have to do to the carb jetting to keep it running smooth like is does right now? Its bone stock right now buy the way.
Is Unifilter a good filter for both air flow and filtering qualities?
Thanx to all who reply

You most likely will have to change the main jet to compensate for the extra air flow (Check with your dealer for jetting specs). The UNI filter is awsome, a good flowing foam filter is the best way to go for dusty and muddy situations. They are also cheaper than K&N filters.

If it is available for your quad, check out a White Brothers air filter too. They are a dual layer foam but breathe better than most any air filter. They do not fall apart either. I always clean mine with diesel fuel and Dawn dish detergent. If you want a super quality foam air filter oil that isn't super expensive, checkout Amsoil.
