Blasters are faster, and i do not know how you can even say the blaster jumps better though. the rear drops straight down for me off the jump becasue it is so light, and usually handling has something to do with jumping.

 

Yes the blaster is a great machine like i said there not the fastest but they are faster than a 300ex i race them all the time for longer than 300ft (in the quarries) The 300ex ia also a real good quad it jumps fine ride fine the engine could be a lil faster cause a 250ex does 51 and test runs w/ blasters and 300ex's blasters win, when jumping the blaster u just have to know where to lean your body it use to lean back for me when i first started riding now im all centered on it, ive jumped my frieodsd 300ex it jumps fine shocks seem better, but blasters are are smaller thats why there udgrades.

 

... a 240 blaster wont beat a KFX it will be a decent race, but once the kfx opens up the blaster will lose, if you want trails and handling go w/ the 300ex if you want drag racing all day than go with the blaster(even though if you plan on drag racing all day the best quad would be a banshee(you could pick one up used for abou hte price of a new blaster))

My blaster is bored out to a 240 it is right up w/ it its either my brother hit the brakes or im like right almost passing him, yes the 300es would be a lot better than the blaster in trail but if u want speed for drag racing its blaster there a lot more after market products for it!

 

If u want a peppy and light 2-stroke that is exceptionally fast the Blaster is for you. If you want a quad that better suits you when u get older, that handles better, and is more reliable the 300ex is the way to go.
