Default Polaris to 400ex

I just traded in my trailblazer for a 400ex and WOO HOO! I can't badmouth Polaris because I used to ride them for so long. I will say this...that riding an automatic really cheats someone out of "fully enjoying" the experience of riding. I have to now teach myself how to use a clutch and it's frustrating at times but SO rewarding. Just my two cents! I love the machine.

Yep, know what you mean. Sold my alky sport and go a Banshee. What a difference. They say Banshees dont handle well. After riding that fast sport so long the Banshee handles like a dream to me. Ohhh... it does have works shocks all around too. Maybe that helps.

Cheers to that. Swinging the leg over a 5-speed manual and some double a-arms is just enought to put one of those big dumb grins on your face!! Although the scrambler was an awesome trail machine with the 4x4, take it to the deep woods of WI, it's really hard to beat for sport pleasure in mud!

I ride mostly in Attica, IN at what is called the Badlands. It's really a great place to ride for this part of the country. One of the biggest concerns of mine before purchasing my sport quad was the "reverse" factor. In fact, I almost had the Suzuki out the door but backed out of the decision. So far, I don't regret the decision. It's actually made me a better rider by being more prepared where I'll ride. The only time I really get in trouble is when I take my nephew and he decides at the last minute not to climb a hill. In the end...you just can't go wrong with the Honda. The resell value was also part of the selling point. Hope that answers your question.

I think you no longer should be known as "anchor". Since you don't ride one anymore!
Congrats! You will love it!

Thanks anchor. Maybe now, instead of trusting reverse to get me out, I'll stay out of places where I'll need it anyway. Thanks.

Hey anchor boy, I've seen you ride, and you're definitely on the right machine. I told you that you would not regret your decision. We just need to teach your brother-n-law how to not run down his battery every time we ride...............If anyone else has any suggestions on batteries running down or how to not let them run down, please let me know...........
