Default 400EX build-up, suggestions?

Ok, I've heard good and bad things about the 440cc big bore kits. To make this reliable, what exactly do I have to do? Also, I want to put in a stage1 hotcam. Do I need to replace the stock springs and rocker arms with this? Along with all of this I want to do a good port and polish on the head, barnett clutch and jet out the carb. Is this a good combo for a big power jump over stock? Where do you guys shop for your parts? I've been searching for a web-site that carries the stuff I need, but so far to get all of this, I'd have to buy from 3 or 4 different web-sites. Not what I want to do. Lastly, where can I get factory replacement parts like special bolts, tranny parts and things like that. I'd appreciate any help you can give me, thanks.

For a couple grand powroll makes a 440 kit that will hang with the newer quads. I think anything less than going full bore on that engine would be a waste of time.
