400ex compression

Default 400ex compression

what is the stockj compression of a 400ex? u think i should go to 12.5:1 ? anyone? im getting my 440 kit and stuff... thanks
also what kind of jet kit should i get and what kind of cam ? thanks alot

stock is 9.0:1 or really close. if you go to 12.5:1 you will lose all reliability. can you say <u> HAND GRENADE </u> LOL

okay. well what will i have to get to do a cam and also how hard is it to remove the old sleeve off stock 400ex and put in new sleeve? will i have to bore or anything? thanks alot

does anyone also know the stock duration of cam and stock lift. Thanks and what kind of cam would b the best. thanks

I had the WebCam 450/451 grind cam when I had a 440 and it did...ok. I think the 479 grind would work better for both the mid and top end and still a a decent bottom. I have the 9i463 in now and is no doubt a high reving cam and has a not so good bottom for my taste. Harden your rockers! Search for the Web Cam site and you will find these cams with specs.
