I'd just leave the stock tire sizes on the Recon unless you change it a little. Then just put a skid on it and go. Don't booger it up too much. The Recon is what it is and it isn't a 4x4. I liked my Recon the most when all it had was a skid to protect the bottom. It's light and agile and you don't want to ruin that. I drove mine everywhere my friend went with his 4x4. One time he just about went over the bars when he dropped into a beaver ditch, then the front tires hit a tree in the ditch and almost over he went. The Recon being so light just popped right through and over everything without any trouble.

Hey coyotechaser, when did you sell your recon? I thought you really liked it, why did you end up selling it anyways. I might buy one, or maybe a Foreman 400, still deciding.
