z250 vs. 250 ex would b close and it would depend on the rider

 

Just curious...? Walk through Dirtwheels and count how many adds there are for a honda product, and then a suzuki product...? Not after market, just straight up bike adds. I read that same article for s*%ts and giggles and read that the zuk had this and that and that ....bbbuuuuttttttt...... honda was better all around . hhmmmm... I could care less but they totally contradicted themselves in that shoot-out and lost trust in me along the way. I personally looked at both bikes before buying the zuk, and picked the zuk because of travel, ground clearance and the look of the EX looked dated to me. My 2 cents...

 

Guess it all just depends on the rider. And I'm 15. I have totally lost my trust in Dirt Wheels. Not just because of the article on the Z250 vs. 250EX, but also from what I have other people saying about there "Shootouts."

 

z250 is a beginner quad but its real cool i ride one sumtimes but it dowesnt amoun to my 300ex

 

kdx rider how does a z250 do 54 miles an hour if they do i must be doin about 70 on my 300ex wen i race my neighbor and i doubt im doin 70

Well simply put i read a 4-wheeler magazine that was not Dirt Wheels and they happened to have a shoot-out featuring the Mojave 250, the 250ex, the Z250, and the Blaster. At the conclusion of the shoot-out they posted the top speeds which were as follows: Mojave 250-54mph, 250ex-52mph, Z250-54mph, Blaster-57mph. So i would say a 300ex has a top speed of about 60-62. I have a friend who i go riding with and he has a 300ex which cruses right along but its tough for him too keep up with me and my other friends who have piped Blasters.

 

Do you realize what Dirt Wheels or any magazine for that matter would be risking by putting out biased information? So the general consensus is that 250EX-52mph/Z250-54mph. Who cares about a 2 mph difference anyway? The EX was rated at having better low-end snap, better handling and slightly better suspension. Plus, you've got that legendary Honda reliability.

 

Probably not accurate... you need to do a speed trap
