Honda Rubicon Limited Slip Diff
Hey Guys,
I am looking for a Posi-Unit from a limited slip differential to use in a small formula style racecar. I have heard of another team using the limited slip differential from a 2002 or 2003 honda rubicon ATV. Is differential gearing set up the same way with ATV's? Is there a spinning posi-unit that all the helical gearing or friction plates are mounted in? Also are there any other ATV manufacters that make limited slip differentials? We are only looking at putting out 80-90lbft of torque on the driveshafts. So I would assume that I may be able to use something small from an ATV. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
